OLLC Sparkle and Shine challenge

This fortnight at Ooh La La Creations our challenge is called Sparkle and Shine #124

We want to see projects with lots of sparkle and or shine!  You have two weeks to enter your creations and if you are a lucky winner you can recieve a CD full of some lovely images!  Some other noteworthy news at Ooh La La Creations is we are looking for a few Guest Designers.  If you would like to join us  for a couple month stint be sure to put GDT after your name on the Linky!

Onto my project;

  

My daughter asked me to make a Birthday card for her teacher this past week...one of those really crazy weeks had just passed us and we were busy getting ready for a camping trip!  So I decided upon a Tim Holtz Pillow Box.  This was a wonderfully simple and quick project to create.  I figured since I'm late with her card, she would probably appreciate a cup of Starbucks coffee! The pillow box is the perfect size to hold a gift card.

I just love this sweet illustration available on the Everyday Occasions CD!

Here's a photo with the top flaps open, revealing the doily accents I embellished with some Stickles!  I adore this Shiney and Sparkled ribbon I picked up at Michael's, itwas actually twice the thickness, but a pair of scissors cut that down in half and then it was the perfect width for the box.  I used a very sparkly pink glittered paper to cover the box followed by some Recollections Washi tape that's black and white.
