Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Anything Goes with Lots of Layers

It's Party Time!  This week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner, Anything Goes with Lots of Layers, I chose an image from Bugaboo stamps to celebrate my wonderful Mother-in-Laws 80th Birthday!  I decided to use one of the '

 funny Stella images because it truely fit the occasion.

I got to cut into my hoarded Graphic45 LeCirque stash to complement this image!  It's hard to see in the photos but lots of details in the papers have been highlighted with Dry Distress glitter.  I also got to break out the Rainbow Honeycomb paper I bought at Archivers this past summer during my trip to Chicago!  There more fun when the card is opened;

A banner was created with some pre-cut pieces of chipboard which I covered with mini polka dot paper, black soot distressed and I used the Sizzix Tim. Holtz alps strip die to spell out Happy 80th B Day.  Again in person you would see the dusting of Distress glitter not picked up by the camera.  The banner is attached on the sides so there is movement.
