Todays blog post title was formulated with my 14 year old remarkably brilliant Asberger's daughter...i asked her for an adjective starting with the letter N to go with the word Neon. my daughter and i liked Naturally Neon because it is so ironic. this gave us a great language lesson as we thought through all the different descriptions of figures of speech. we ruled out Onomatopoeia and Oxymoron to land upon Ironic. If you want to know the definition it's only a few strokes away at www.dictionary.com. Ok so now I can add family education to the list of pros for card making and blogging!
Onto the reason you are here: check out the tag I made for
365 Card's NEON Challenge # 224. :
I wish the photo could reflect how bright this pink really is! I sprayed a white tag with Dyan Reavely's Dylusions Pink spray then stamped and heat embossed the hope and oval. The woman and the sentiment are Wendy Vecchi stamps. The phrase is actually the second half of another phrase but in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month I think that it goes perfectly with the word hope! I am going to make several more and send them to 3 of my awesome friends who have all faced breast cancer with great courage and hope in The Lord. I finished it off with some twinkle stamps embellished with pearls and rhinestones. The challenge states cards but the rules of participation says you can link up other projects as long as they fit the challenge so I hope I'm OK ;)
Note: guess I was more than ok...I wine the Spotlight Designer Challenge ! Thanks 365 Cards...hugs.
