Alcohol Ink Fun

The Play Date Cafe is celebrating its 3rd Anniversary!  They are  having some major giveaways this week!  So go check them out:  http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.

Here is my entry:

I used Alchol Inks, the colors Cranberry, Eggplant and Sail Boat Blue, placed drops on Shiney card stock and then used compressed canned air to move it around on the paper.  I then stamped the floral images from Tim Holtz and a small Pink Paislee stamp using Versamark Black Onyx ink.  Then placed dried and pressed flowers over the images.  I stamped and embossed with White embossing powder, it got a bit messy but I like it anyways, kinda goes with the random inks.  The technique is from Tim Holtzs compendium of Curiosities Volume 1.
Here is a close up of the flowers:

Thanks for stopping by!  If you like what you see, please leave a comment, I do appreciate your feedback, It brightens my day!  Also, I love making new friends so please join my blog and let's have fun together!
