Vacation in a jar

  Ever want to take a piece of your vacation home with you?  I guess that's what souvenirs are for...this tag is like that for me.  I bought quite a few stamps home from my last trip to Hawaii.  They were made by a company in Oahu and when I got home I ordered quite a few more.  This little turtle scene being one of them.

I began with the canning jar stamp and built it from there.  I used the turtle scene, colored it with my Copics and then decided I needed a little more whimsy so I added the silhouette of the hula stamp!  Out came the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam Glaze (i love that stuff!)  and then I Mounted the jar onto a Tim Holtz die cut tag that was embossed with a Darice Bamboo embossing folder that had some Distress in Miwed Lawn accenting it.  Stamped it with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Sentiment stamps (another new favorite goodie in my stash) and attached some paper lace from Memory Makers onto the bottom.  Topped the whole thing off with some ARTC threads and some beads, charms and a lone shell from my collection.  

This is definitely a way to keep my Hawaii trip memory close at hand!
