CASADIA - Happy Everything
I recently saw a post on my friend Mynette's blog,(http://mynnettekitchenonastampage.blogspot.com/2013/02/casadia-heart-bunting.html), where she participated in a fun card making experience being called CASADIA which stands for a case an idea (reminds me of the yummy Quesadilla but I am digressing!). Anyhow it stared with a gal named Wida who wanted to CASE this card by Laura Bassen:

Here is Wida's blog ; http://beachorado.blogspot.co.uk/p/casadia-casean-idea.html
(Please note, the photo above IS NOT MY CREATION, I am having trouble with some of the linkz I have posted and DO NOT want anyone to think I am taking credit for something that is not my creation ...humph technology, love it, hate it!)
The opportunity to CASE each card in succession was born! I contacted Wida' and ask if I could join in on the fun and when it was my turn she sent me the link to this beauty made by Divinity:
So....in the spirit of CASE chose to reproduce my card based on the elements of color and CAS and came up with this:
I used the following stamps;
My Minds Eye Chic Indie (chevron) stamped with Archival ink in Cobalt, Saffron and Maganese Blue
Paper Smooches Simply Said (happy everything) in black Archival
Some twine, yellow cardstock and a little Graphic 45 Le Cirque cut out embellished with a rhinestone bling.
Nice and simple :)
If you want to join in just email Wilda at wida.miller@gmail.com
If you want to see all the cards in succession go check out Wilda's blog here; http://beachorado.blogspot.co.uk/p/casadia-casean-idea.html
I will be entering this card into the following challenges;
http://useittuesday.blogspot.com/ - use a hoarded item and gold (golden yellow ink, G45 paper embellishment)
http://useyourstuff.blogspot.com/ - white space
http://www.pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com/ - birthday
Chevrons Challenge
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, let me know what you think of the whole CASADIA phenom.
A wonderful CASE card. Love the design and sunshine colours. Great creative use of the twine as well.
