Guest Design for Tammy's Scrappin Corner and IBSIC #37
It's definitely "Beginning to look a lot like Christmas" around here, especially on my craft table! This week I was invited by Tammy of Tammy's Scrapping Corner,
http://www.tammyscrapincorner.com/, to be a Guest Designer! The theme
this week is # 39 Anything Christmas, be sure to stop by and join in on the fun!
Here is my card using an image from A Day for Daisies called "Warm in Winter"
I colored the image in with my colored pencils, added Martha Stewart snow glitter, and set it behind a new Spellbinders Shapabilities Die D-Lites Window Two die. I just adore this die since it is interactive with the windows that open! The window was cut from Tim Holtz core'denations Kraft-Core, sanded, edges distressed and then inked with Distress Stain in Tarnished Brass. A small piece of vellumn was placed behind the decorative swirls. The background paper is from the Recollections Frosty Cabin Paper Pad.
I used paper from a new DCWV "The First Noel" nativity stack, it's full of really beautiful nativity images and complementary papers. I cut it out with Nestabilities Label 28 die and a Spellbinders Shapabilities "Fancy Framed Tags Two" tag that allows you to cut a matching shape for you to stamp your sentiment onto (clear stamp from my stash). I embellished everything with pearls, TH Distress Sticlkes dry glitter, swirls of bling and more Tarnished brass stain, and a Sakura Gelly Roll pen in Clear Star. The roses were embellished with more glitter, sprays, and Stickles to really make them sing "Chrisrmas".
Here's the inside:
Stamps used: all Recollections, Archival Ink in Vermillion and Olive
