Ooh La La Spots and Dots
Well I am fully recovered from a lovely low-key Thanksgiving weekend! I'm now heading into Christmas mode as are most of you! In addition to Christmas I am usually planning for my two of my children's birthdays...my daughter turns 15 on the 12th of December...her birthday this year is 12-12-12, pretty cool! My son will be 17 on the 17th! But this year I am relieved from party planning and instead I will be making vacation plans as we are all traveling to Hawaii for a memorable Family Adventure! We are all beginning to get very excited around here!
Onto the project of my weekend, at least one of them! For the next two weeks the design team of Ooh La La Creations welcomes you to join us as we create cards with the theme "Spots and Dots". Here is my Design Team entry:
This image is from the Passion for Fashion CD and the Red Dotted paper is from the All Dressed Up Cd. The dotted paper is actually shown as red and white on the CD but I printed it in cream card stock and got the vintage look I was going for! The third paper is from Graphic 45, Curtain Call.
Here are a few more images:
A Spellbinders die added to the Art Deco feel of the image. Stickles around the image is a technique I really like a lot.
I used a cut out from the DCWV stack called "Timeless Type" of the framed tan paper and added the Italian Post card stamps, they are from Inspired Stamping, as well as the Follow your bliss sentiment in red.
I am entering this card into an Inspired Stamping Inspiration Sketch Challenge #36
